CBP Releases Enforce and Protect Act Resources

In preparation for the upcoming Enforce and Protect Act (EAPA) Final Rule taking effect on April 17, 2024, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) published several resources to assist the trade in understanding EAPA and how it is used to enforce the payment of antidumping and countervailing (AD/CVD) duties.

CBP has updated the EAPA homepage, which contains background information on EAPA, a link to the EAPA Portal, and resources on how to file an EAPA allegation.

In addition, CBP’s Trade Outreach Program announced two upcoming webinars on EAPA and trade violations. The “Trade Violation Reporting” Webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. EDT, and the “EAPA Overview and How to File an EAPA Allegation” webinar is scheduled for Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. EDT.
